Before you go
If it is your first visit
Nobody expects you to know anything. This is all you need to feel at ease.
Go on a Sunday
It is the day of the open programme: singing, a short talk and vegetarian food for everyone.
Take your shoes off
You enter the temple room barefoot. There is usually a shoe rack by the door.
Sit and listen
You can sing, clap or stay silent. Dress modestly and switch off your phone.
Ask anything
There is always someone happy to explain what is going on and why.
