If it is your first visit
- Go on a Sunday: it is the day of the open programme, with singing, a short talk and vegetarian food.
- Take your shoes off before entering the temple room.
- Sit wherever you like and join in as much as you want: singing, clapping or just listening.
- Ask. There is always someone happy to explain what is going on.
If you want to know what you are going to hear, read What is kirtan and the meaning of the maha-mantra first.
